The lodge is situated on the banks of the Otjovasandu River, in a concession area of 8 808 hectares, home to a rich diversity of wildlife. Voluminous thatched roofs with deep overhangs and dense walls with ample ventilation provide passive climate control in the warm, arid African Savannah.
With conservation in mind, the lodge is actively involved in promoting the peaceful co-existence of man and nature.*
